“Is what?” he asked.
“I don’t know,” she said. “It stops there. It’s damaged.”
Beyond the torchlight there was a deep grumble and the sound of something heavy dragging over smaller, boney-sounding things.
She squinted. “I imagine there are a very great number of things that are important to understand about dragons.”
